The benefits of SSCI

• Flexibility: the driver can check-in and charter through the service 6 hours before departure, at the time and place of his choice.
• Smoother arrival at the port: automatic identification at the gates, followed by direct access to the loading area. Arrival is displayed in real time on the loading terminals for the field supervisors and ship’s staff
• Driver’s cargo ticket and QR code directly to the driver’s email, cabin card available from the vending machine on board
• Reduced fuel consumption and emissions: fewer stops. Reduced idling of vehicles, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This helps transport operators to improve their environmental performance

SSCI deployment is smooth and fast. All that is required is a contract with the transport company and registration of drivers in the Driver’s Card programme.
